KRE Consulting is headquartered in the City of Pasadena, CA. We are a Women Business Enterprise certified by the California Supplier Clearinghouse.
We typically participate in multi-year projects in complex organizations. Such projects require the discipline of following a structured methodology, but also the flexibility to make changes and adapt each methodology to the project needs. Thus, we believe in “right sizing” the approach so that projects can be fluid and dynamic, but also remain well organized and efficient in their execution. For instance, we appreciate the value of using the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to manage a large project, but we would only recommend using the specific, relevant aspects for each engagement.
KRE has extensive experience working with companies that support the general public in the Utilities / Energy sector providing expert project managers, business analysts, QA and testing teams to ensure delivery of Enterprise-level projects such as AMI, CIS, CSS, EBPP, Mobile Work Order Management systems.
We have built a strong, yet and flexible collection of very energetic and seasoned employees with many years of experience in the Utilities industry. We are all united by a resilient alignment to the business drivers of our clients as well as a healthy dose of intellectual curiosity.

What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?
Basics of email/social media etiquette such as when to use ‘Reply v. Reply All’, when to Retweet v. Love a tweet (or both), appropriate email subject lines, proper uses of ALL CAPS and dashes ‘/’ and elipses ’…’, when group texts should really be emails, unreasonable lags in email response times, unnecessary cc’s in emails, etc.
Would you rather have a dog or a cat?
A clear choice here…a dog. God created us to be like dogs (to be loyal, build relationships, not hold grudges, enjoy eating) but we continually choose to act like cats (be self-focused, have attitude, scratch and claw to get what we want)

What’s your favorite book?
A Brief History of Time, by Dr. Stephen Hawking. This book follows our motto of ‘Simplifying Complexity’ by explaining how the Universe works in a manner that non-scientists can understand. I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Hawking and witnessing his brilliance first hand at Caltech back in 2013.
Would you rather go to a play or musical?
I would rather play at a musical. I play the guitar since childhood and played in a band through college. I miss my time on stage interacting with musicians and the audience.
