Business Analyst

 

Location: Seattle/Tacoma WA

Responsible for the determination of project objectives, requirements development, project design analytics, business process modeling services and assistance with project testing.  Requires experience in facilitating requirements workshops, design reviews and stakeholder representation of technology projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business process and requirement modeling
  • Ability to work with key project stakeholders and business to formulate and communicate the business vision for the project
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating and translating business needs into usable and testable project requirements – distilling the differing messages and needs of stakeholders into a consistent vision
  • Skillsets in breaking down technical and architectural complexities on behalf project stakeholders into language
  • Demonstrated competency to link well-described requirements to form/function/capabilities and project benefits
  • Ability to develop user acceptance test cases, test data and trace results back to requirements and benefits
  • Capable to act as surrogate stakeholders on projects, representing the needs and vision of the business to the project
  • Experience in facilitating business teams through project requirements, design and testing workshops and sessions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

In addition, the following qualifications are strongly preferred:

  • Certified agile/scrum and experience leading project teams
  • Utility experience, particularly power and water utilities
  • Knowledge of information systems
